The Mask
The Mask was released in the United States on July 29, 1994, starring Jim Carrey in the title role. Directed by Chuck Russell, the film co-starred Peter Greene as Dorian Tyrell, Peter Riegert as Lt. Mitch Kellaway, Orestes Matacena as Niko, Richard Jeni as Charlie Schumacher, Amy Yasbeck as Peggy Brandt, and Cameron Diaz, in her screen debut, as Tina Carlyle. Ben Stein has a cameo role as Dr. Arthur Neuman.

Lieutenant Mitch Kellaway: Ipkiss! Police!
The Mask: Merde! (French for 'Shit')
Lieutenant Mitch Kellaway: (as the Mask jumps away from the bench) Freeze!
[the Mask stops in mid air, covered in ice, Tina runs away]
Lieutenant Mitch Kellaway: Get your hands up!
The Mask: (teeth clenched) But you told me to freeze!
Lieutenant Mitch Kellaway: All right, all right, unfreeze!
[the ice vanishes, and the Mask falls to the ground]
Lieutenant Mitch Kellaway: Search Him!

[After some searching]

(snap)
Officer: Ow, ow, ow...mousetrap.

[After more searching]

Police Officer: Bazooka?
The Mask: I have a permit for that.
Police Officer:...rubber chicken?
The Mask: I've never seen that before in my life!
[Doyle finds a picture of Lieutenant Kellaway's wife in the Mask's pocket]
Doyle: ...a picture of Kellaway's wife...
Lieutenant Mitch Kellaway: What?!
The Mask: Uh-oh!
Lieutenant Mitch Kellaway: Margaret! You son of a bitch!
The Mask: Jeez, I figured you'd have a sense of humor; after all...YOU MARRIED HER!
Lieutenant Mitch Kellaway: AAAAAAA!...
[Mask slaps both Doyle and Kellaway several times]
The Mask: That's gotta hurt!
[Mask runs away]
Lieutenant Mitch Kellaway: Get 'em! (realizes he has been handcuffed with Doyle) Doyle!

Alley Punk: Hey, mister! You got the time?
The Mask: As a matter of fact I do, Cubby.
[pulls out an alarm clock]
The Mask: Look at that! It's about two seconds before I honk your nose and pull your underwear over your head!
[A strong tick is heard, Mask honks punk's nose and pulls his underwear over his head]

Bobby: Uh, are you on the list?
The Mask: Nooooo. But I believe my friends are. Perhaps you know them.
[He takes fistfuls of high denomination cash out of his pocket]
The Mask: Franklin, Grant, and... Jackson?

The Mask [Smoking a cigarette, after flushing Dorian out of the real world]: You were good, kid, you were real good. But as long as I'm around you'll always be second best, ya hear?
